This site
is for the teaching of the Word of God to believers in
Jesus Christ. It is very
important to establish from the beginning that the Bible commands that
believers “ . . . be filled with the
Spirit,” (Eph. 5:18b) by means of naming his or her sins
to God the Father (1 Joh. 1:9) and that every believer should
“grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord
and Savior Jesus Christ . . .”
(2 Pet. 3:18a).
Since that is the goal, this site is designed for true students of the
Word of God who want to know the
“thinking of Christ.” (1 Cor. 2:16). The material is not
presented to debate with other believers or unbelievers, to judge
another or to challenge a pastor. The truth is presented solely for the
purpose of edifying the saints (Eph.
4:12).
For this reason, the
heart of this site is
The Library. At this time The
Library is a skeleton, nevertheless as time passes more and more
material will be added. For your reference, the English translations of
the scriptures on this site are from the New American Standard Bible
(1977) or corrected translations of R. B. Thieme, Jr. (see
Acknowledgments) from the original languages, taken from class
notes and designated by the acronym, “RBT” or by amplified translations.
With regard to audio Bible classes, there is a limited space so the
available classes will be rotated periodically. The initial audio
classes of 1999 and 2000 are of inconsistent quality, but with time,
they will hopefully be upgraded or replaced. Please note that the
content of The Library is in Spanish only.
Under the
principle of grace, the material available on this site is without cost
to you -- just as your salvation was. You can download study material
for your personal use but the reproduction of materials for sale is
prohibited. The Word of God is FREE! It is NOT FOR SALE! The knowledge
reflected in these pages was accumulated and metabolized by the Grace of
God and it is presented in grace. When a believer grows in the Word to
the point of being grateful to God, he or she has the privilege of
expressing gratitude through voluntary contributions for the
dissemination of Bible doctrine.
May you
enjoy and grow!
