WHO IS THE COMMUNICATOR?
Armando
García was born in Mexico City in 1943. He was raised and educated in
Mexico City. After three years of Economics at the University of Mexico
(UNAM) and four years of Industrial Relations at the University
Iberoamericana, he finished his career in 1967.
In 1969 he made the most important decision of his life, believing in
the Lord Jesus Christ, accepting the work of His Savior on the cross.
Searching to learn all that he could about His Savior, he decided to
move with his family to the United States of America to study under the
most qualified theologian of our time, R. B. Thieme, Jr., pastor of
Berachah Church in Houston, Texas. For thirty years, he attended daily
Bible classes in which the scriptures were meticulously analyzed in the
original languages, their historical context and categories formed by
the comparison of scripture with scripture. Armando studied and
continues studying daily the original languages of the scriptures, doing
his own exegesis.
In June
1997, Armando was ordained (his gift of communicator was recognized) by
the pastor and deacons of Berachah Church. Armando had the desire for a
long time to communicate the Gospel and Bible doctrine in his native
tongue, Spanish. With this goal, after investigating and being sure of
divine guidance, in November, 1998 he arrived in San Jose, Costa Rica.
He did not have a church; he
did not have a congregation, only his wife and their two dogs. Very
soon he began to communicate the Gospel and teach the deep truths of the
Bible in jails, homes and parks of Costa Rica. In February 2004, he
began to travel to Nicaragua with the same purpose. Wherever he puts
his whiteboard, whether in a home, a park or a jail, there are the
hearers provided by God. In this sense he is a missionary.
He is a man with a mission –
to teach the Word of God to those who are positive.
